The Past has Swift Feet | D&D 5e | 5 Players | April 13 | 11 AM

It isn’t always that an act of nature (or benevolent gods?) can engineer a new beginning… but when an unprecedented rupture in the earth turned your city into disarray, it was the perfect moment for you to take to your heels and flee your most overwhelming problem.

It has been a while since you abandoned all worldly possessions and started afresh, and you finally feel ready to take on something a little more challenging than clearing rabid bats out of caves or escorting elderly ladies to the birth of their grandchildren. You scour the adventure board outside the council building and choose something you believe you can now manage with ease. It is a pleasant surprise to even see familiar faces in the group - others who also took the same opportunity you did. It certainly all seems to be going your way!

But they do say the past has a way of catching up with you…and the past has swift feet.

This is a beginner-friendly game with elements of roleplay, combat and problem-solving. You may choose from pre-generated Level 3 characters or bring your own. If creating your own character, please run stats past the DM ahead of time.

Character backstory plays a significant part in the narrative! Please bring with you an idea of what you might be running from (a terrible landlord, an abusive parent, a vindictive ex-partner, a terrible boss, a violent loan-shark, prison, etc.). Final details will be discussed at the table.
