summoned to the desecrated temple of Ilmater, where the sacred relics of the Crying God have been stolen and used to fuel dark rituals that amplify pain and suffering. The temple’s wards have been shattered, leaving it vulnerable to demonic influence. The players, experienced adventurers with ties to the temple or nearby regions, are summoned by the High Priestess, Mother Verita, to recover the relics and cleanse the temple of the horrors that have taken root.
