This is a community meetup for Magic: The Gathering, one of the world’s most popular card games. If you are curious about game and don’t know where to start, or are already a player looking to find others to play with in-person, this is for you!
For people who’ve never played before:
We’ll teach you the rules, give you cheat sheets, and will pair up new players with each other. We’ll be playing the with 40-card decks, using the Jumpstart 2022 set - which is a great way to learn the game without too much time on deck building.
We have 24 premade 20-card decks, each with a particular mechanic. You mix any two to make a 40-card deck and play against an opponent. It’s that simple!
For experienced players players
We have a few premade standard (60 card) decks to play, as well a few commander decks.
You are welcome to bring your own deck, but please talk to @Leneyxis/@Ishan1310, post on the #magic-the-gathering-meetup channel on our Discord or on our WhatsApp Group We want to make sure we match players and decks so it’s balanced and fun.
