About the game
During the town’s annual Christmas Carol-a-thon fundraiser, the Murder Mavens arrive at Andrew Boddy’s grand home, only to discover he has been found dead. Andrew’s niece, Caroline, requests the Mavens’ help in investigating the murder. With all the suspects—Andrew’s estranged family—gathered in the foyer, the Mavens must navigate family secrets and uncover the truth behind Andrew’s untimely death. Can they solve the mystery of this Jingle Bell Shock?
About the game
Brindlewood Bay is a tabletop roleplaying game that combines Murder, She Wrote with H.P. Lovecraft. In it, you play a group of elderly women, members of the local Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club, who help the authorities solve murder cases in a picturesque town. The game is low-prep and easy to play no matter your experience with tabletop roleplaying games. The system has an interesting take in that mysteries don’t have a correct solution. In fact, there is no solution until it is discovered (created) in play.
