However, not all who ventured below made their way back, and the mysteries they chased were left undiscovered beneath the ground.
Recently, Candela Obscura received a tip about renewed interest in several abandoned dig sites. The organisation has assigned your circle to investigate who is behind it and what their motive might be. Are there artefacts that could cause catastrophic damage if fallen into the wrong hands? Are there secrets best left undisturbed in the dark depths of Oldfaire?

Candela Obscura is a horror tabletop roleplaying game about occult investigators hunting down the dangerous supernatural forces making incursions into a world very much like your own.
You take up the role of a newly formed Circle member. You can be the Face or Muscle of the group, a Scholar or a Slink, or maybe a touch of Weird is what’s best suited for this paranormal secret society.
This is a beginner friendly one-shot with elements of investigation, paranormal, and social interaction. The combat in Candela Obscura tends to be less tactical, and more organic and story-driven. Characters will be created at the table. Please feel free to reach out if you’ve any questions
