Travelling with a merchant caravan, your party is hitching a ride to make their way through Neverwinter Woods. The caravan settles in a clearing in the evening on the fourth day of travel, and after an evening of drinks and exchanging stories with the rest of the travelers, you all setup your makeshift tents and sleeping rolls around one of the many campfires to settle in for the night.
The next morning, you wake up and the caravan is gone. Not only that, but the forest around you doesn’t seem to be the same. A thick, almost claustrophobic fog now surrounds you, and the other travelers are nowhere to be seen.
Ideal for totally-new-to-D&D players. There is less emphasis on classes/races/abilities, and more about understanding what goes into a TTRPG and the pillars of most role playing games - combat , social interaction, and exploration.
