Off the mountain path, and in a small clearing stands a lonely cabin. As the summer night breeze rushes through the woods, the scent of Milky Pine flowers fills the air. A number of bottles hanging from the branches of a banyan tree clink together.
There are no visible movements around the house, as expected. This is the chapter house of The Circle of Loyal Malefactors. No one has seen or heard from the circle members for a week.
Candela Obscura has assigned your circle to travel to the hideaway cabin in the Bridleborne Mountains to find the missing members.

Candela Obscura is a horror tabletop roleplaying game about occult investigators hunting down the dangerous supernatural forces making incursions into a world very much like your own.
You take up the role of a newly formed Circle member. You can be the Face or Muscle of the group, a Scholar or a Slink, or maybe a touch of Weird is what’s best suited for this paranormal secret society.
This is a beginner friendly one-shot with elements of investigation, paranormal, and mystery. The combat in Candela Obscura tends to be less tactical, and more organic and story-driven. Characters will be created at the table. Please feel free to reach out if you’ve any questions
